System Engineer Jr. – Sr. – San Diego, CA

Job Description:

Infrastructure modernization, maintenance, and support to Global Command and Control System -Maritime (GCCS-M), Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) and Distributed Common Ground Systems Navy (DCGS-N) systems. The primary responsibilities of the candidates are to work directly with the DoD User Community and other mission partners to identify, develop, integrate, test and deliver robust and efficient C4ISR capabilities around the world in a timely fashion using agile development methodology. Candidate with guide projects through the systems engineering lifecycle from Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and system requirements to verification and validation.

Desired Technical Capabilities:

  • 4+ years of experience with C4ISR systems.
  • 3+ years of experience  with Program Executive Officer (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems that are targeted to leverage a cloud based architecture (e.g. MTC2, DCGS-N, JC2CUI, NITES-NeXT, and NCSA).
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience with Common Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) and CANES Agile Core Services (ACS).
  • 2+ years of experience  with Red Hat server administration, OpenShift, and infrastructure automation using Chef, Ansible, Puppet.

Additional Qualification:

  • Experience Integrating Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Services.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, IdAM, RESTful, SOAP, XML, ESRI ArcGIS, JSON.
  • Experience with Ozone Widget Framework (OWF), Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) services, and Joint Command & Control Common User Interface (JC2CUI), or other DoD SOA based Web applications or services.
  • Experience with  the Naval Tactical Cloud Reference Implementation (NTC-RI).

Education & Certifications:

Software Developer Jr. – Sr. – San Diego, CA

Job Description:

Support the full software development life cycle for the development of Navy-oriented Cyber, Cloud, and Big Data tasks. Apply expertise in computer science, software development, and the latest technologies to design and implement analysis infrastructure and tools, analytic workflow processes, and complex data visualizations. Primary support will be to support to Global Command and Control System -Maritime (GCCS-M), Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) and Distributed Common Ground Systems Navy (DCGS-N) systems.

The selected candidate will develop, code, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software under direction from lead developers and engineers.  Candidates will designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Java development, including JavaEE technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate, and JSF development experience using technologies such as ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • 3+  years of experience with Web-based development, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • 3+ experience supporting web architectures, including Tomcat, JBoss, and /or Apache Web.
  • 3+ years of experience with Web services technologies, including RESTful, SOAP, and Extensible Markup Language (XML).
  • 3+ years of experience with SOA architecture design.
  • 3+ years of experience with the Linux or UNIX.
  • 1+ years of experience with Cloud-based technologies, including Accumulo, HBase, Hadoop MapReduce/HDFS, or NoSQL data stores.

IA System Engineer

Job Description:

ODME Solutions is seeking a Cyber/IA Engineer SME to support a client with transitioning to DoD’s Risk Management Framework (RMF). Manage information-related risks in enterprise architectures, acquisition strategies, and testing and evaluation, and work to achieve cyber security C&A. Primary programs include support to Global Command and Control System -Maritime (GCCS-M), Maritime Tactical Command and Control (MTC2) and Distributed Common Ground Systems Navy (DCGS-N) systems.

Required Technical Capabilities:

  • 3+ years of  experience in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, and Risk Management
  • 3+ years of experience  with information security certification and accreditation (C&A) packages in accordance with appropriate DoD policies and procedures.
  • 3+ years of experience preparing test plans, procedures, and data collections for cybersecurity functions, and provide support on System Security Plans (SSP).
  • Experience with using Navy DIACAP and RMF related tools
  • Develop deliverables in order to meet customer’s written requirements as well as meet security requirements as outlined in DISA STIG’s.

Additional Qualification:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of IA solutions including Firewalls, IPSEC and SSL VPNs
  • DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)

Mid-Level Network Engineer – Colorado Springs, CO

Required Skills/Experience:
  • CISCO – CCNA minimum, CCNA preferred – but must have a solid background in IP, sub-netting and routing.
  • Juniper experience (JNCIA) required. Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance

Computer Programmer – Aberdeen, MD

Job Description: Provide software support for data analysis particularly related to “Big Data” initiatives, as well as large-scale software systems integration.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Development of software drivers and/or applications for desktop/mobile type computer platforms in support of instrumentation or instrumentation development. Support includes software development services including but not limited to system administration, software engineering, primarily in a Linux based environment.
  • Development of Instrument Control, Data Acquisition, Analysis and Presentation Software. Provide software utilizing coding language and development environments as directed by the government in support of instrument control, data acquisition, analysis, and presentation.
  • Knowledge of Windows 8, 7, Vista, XP, Windows NT, UNIX and Linux are required. Additionally, database management and SQL experience is required.
  • Experience with Web Services, Web Development, Sharepoint, and NoSQL is highly desired.
  • Experience with Information Assurance (IA) in support of accreditation of Cross Domain Solutions desired.
  • Certifications Required: For Software Development tasks, employees shall obtain DoD 8570.01 certification and training requirements within 60 days of support to the task order, e.g. CompTIA Security+ and be enrolled in the CompTIAs Continuing Education program in good standing AND complementary training.Examples include Linux/Unix training certificates OR certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, LPI, Certified Redhat Engineer, Oracle Linux.
  • Experience with LabVIEW is desirable. Must have at least four (4) years experience in above described areas.
  • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DoD security clearance
