The Senior BI Developer is responsible for leading enterprise efforts for data management, storage, and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and support new and existing software and business intelligence systems using MS SQL Server BI Tools.
  • Support programming/software development using Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools, specifically SSIS.
  • Install, configure, and administer a Reporting Services (SSRS) Environment
  • Design, develop, and test reports using SSRS with user-defined inputs and automated, scheduled delivery parameters.
  • Conduct Performance Analysis of SSIS and SQL procedures.
  • Setup and Configure the automation of SSIS package in MS SQL Server via SSIS package scheduling.
  • Provide solutions for automating SSIS packages and reports.
  • Resolve issues by determining root cause of the issue and completing programming changes.
  • Configure, build, and test applications or technical architecture components.
  • Write technical deployment instructions for the installation of SSIS packages on MS SQL Server.
  • Support MS SQL Server installation, configuration, and administration in a Windows environment.
  • Assist to identify hardening requirements for technologies used within an ATO package based on DoD and USMC guidance.

Minimum Required Experience:

  • 8+ Years’ Experience with BI Development
  • 8+ Years’ Experience with MS SQL Server
  • 8+ Years’ Experience developing, deploying, automating, and supporting SSRS and SSIS packages.
  • 8+ Years’ Experience with performance tuning RDBMS, SQL Procedures, etc.
