Description:

The Financial Analyst will provide financial management support for a branch, office, organization, and/or department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
  • Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
  • Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
  • Examine past and current budgets, and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.
  • Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
  • Conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
  • Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.
  • Manage finances across multiple funding types.
  • Track budgets, costs, and variances.
  • Produce executive summaries.
  • Conduct financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer requirements.
  • Develop and propose courses of actions and recommendations for financial issues.
  • Interpret and apply financial management principles.
  • Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations, and organizational strategic goals.

Requirements:

  • Five years of business financial management for a DoD customer.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • Experience with Foreign Military Sales and operational experience with Navy ERP and MISIL.

Salary:  $95,000
