Position Description

ODME Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a Senior Programmer to join our team and provide support to the Army military testing area and firing range.  The work location for this position is White Sands, New Mexico

Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position include:

As the Senior Programmer at the Desert Ship at White Sands Missile Range, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and documenting software that will be used to interface with multiple systems that together comprise the infrastructure used to test a wide variety of advanced ground to air missiles. You will work onsite with a team of professional engineers from other companies including Navy civilians.

Minimum Basic Requirements for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials include:  

  • US citizen with a minimum Secret government clearance
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or STEM
  • 6+ years of professional experience in programming
  • Demonstrated experience in applying programming in control of various weapons systems, radars, and communication systems to allow unrelated hardware/software to work together as a system.
  • Excellent complex problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to write clean well documented code in C and C++ in Linux and Windows environments to support systems under test.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix software problems
  • Acquainted with scripting languages such bash and Python
  • Working knowledge using QT Designer to develop graphical user interfaces.
  • Know how to set up Make files to link developed software with third party software libraries
  • Familiar with Network communication and protocols
  • Experience writing software drivers to communicate and control hardware devices.
