Senior Configuration Management Specialist
- Oversee the tracking of artifacts and licenses included in several software baselines; facilitate communication between CM and various team leads for license version information
- Ensure that technical manuals see their way through the official documentation process
- Identify, process, and document software configuration changes
- Facilitate auditing and reporting of data; ensure Configuration Baseline Audit Reports (CBARs) are being created and updated as needed
- Stay in regular contact with product owners to ensure CM processes are being followed, and that CM is being included at the necessary steps
- Be able to teach CM processes to team leads, developers, and engineers that are unfamiliar; get newcomers on board with CM processes
- Be involved in process improvement; assist in adapting CM processes as needed
- Participate in weekly GCCS-M Engineering Meeting and GCCS-M/MTC2 CCB, as well as biweekly MAR C2 ILS IPT
- Assist in keeping several SBOMs (Software Bill of Material) updated, as well as other high level documents such as the CMP (Configuration Management Plan)
- Manage various functionalities of CMPRO (will have Delegate Admin permissions), including but not limited to:
- Creation and management of Proprietary Groups and Control Groups
- Creation and management of documentation workflows
- Creation and rebuilding of Software Baselines
- Oversight of Software Media Requests and their deadlines
- Understand the process for checking in software media (done by junior CM specialists and involves creating img/iso files, hashes, and disc labels) to ensure that CM is getting all media checked in and tracked accordingly

Summary:
The Data Engineer will support the team in measuring and managing material readiness using custom tools, databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and business intelligence interfaces in order to provide authoritative metrics, trends, and drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and log classified and unclassified raw physical and/or electronic data generated during events in support of test, training, maintenance and sustainment events.
- Collect source data from Government or Contractor sites via tapes, Compact Discs (CD's), hard drives, or other media containing audio or visual information. Data includes configuration, logistics, test, warranty, contract, history, and maintenance information.
- Perform data validation and verification to assess data compliance to a set of standards to ascertain its completeness, correctness, consistency, and quality using the methods and criteria defined in the project documentation.
- Apply knowledge of applicable systems and maintenance practices from prior experience to validate source data.
- Maintain and correct data as required.
- Perform source data error detection, resolution, and editing.

- Assist in preparing, publishing, and distributing data products, metrics and reports via electronic media and physical media for customer distribution.
